Limited Power of Attorney

Transparency on how we act as your authorized agent to protect your privacy.

What is an LPOA?

A Limited Power of Attorney (LPOA) is a legal document that grants a specific person or organization the authority to act on your behalf for a strictly defined and limited set of actions.

Unlike a "General Power of Attorney," which can grant broad control over finances or legal decisions, our LPOA is pinpoint-focused solely on your digital privacy and data removal.

Why is it Required?

Most data brokers and "people search" sites are legally required to honor opt-out requests from individuals. However, they are also allowed to verify that any third-party submitting a request on your behalf is actually authorized to do so.

The Legal Necessity Without an LPOA, data brokers can (and often do) ignore removal requests, citing "lack of verified authorization" or "suspicious third-party activity." The LPOA forces them to treat JustRemove.me as if we were you.

By providing an LPOA, you authorize us to:

What We CANNOT Do

We believe in total transparency. Our LPOA explicitly forbids us from performing any action outside of data removal. Under this agreement, JustRemove.me **cannot**:

Duration and Revocation

The LPOA is active only as long as you are using our service. Think of it as a "digital badge" we wear while we are working for you.

The Digital Signature

When you complete your privacy profile, we ask for a digital signature. This signature is electronically bound to the LPOA document. Here is an example of how your signature appears on the legal requests we send:
